Minimum qualifications by position
| Ambulance Dispatcher |

Currently certified or prior experience as an Emergency Medical Technician;
- Prior experience in ambulance dispatching, unit allocation, and system status management (Preferred);
- Ability to type 25 WPM;
- Knowledge of service areas;
- Ability to function in a high pressure environment;
- Ability to multitask;
- Excellent time-management skills

- Current certification as an EMT-1A in California;
- Current CPR certification;
- Clean DMV driving history;
- Ambulance Driver’s License (for driver applicants);
- Ability to obtain and maintain a City of Los Angeles DOT Ambulance Attendant and/or Driver Permit;

| CCT Registered Nurse |
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in California;
- Current ACLS and BCLS certifications;
- PALS or NRP certifications (Preferred) (PALS required within 6 months of hire);
- CCRN or CEN certifications strongly preferred;
- CCU, ICU, or ER experience;
- Ability to function within scope of practice on critical patients during transport.

- Current licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in California;
- Current ACLS and BCLS certifications;
- PALS or NRP certifications (Preferred) (PALS required within 6 months of hire);
- CCU or ICU experience;
- Ability to function within scope of practice on critical patients during transport.
